Weekly Zoom Classes
Every week we cover an interesting cello related topic live on Zoom. We talk about practice, motivation, music theory, gear and more. There are guest interviews with music specialists, Live Play Along sessions and Masterclasses.
Zoom classes take place every Tuesday at 1.30pm CST. Every class will be recorded so you can watch the recording if you missed the date. You’ll find the recordings on the Courses page.

Office Hours
Have cello questions?
Need help with fingerings, tone production, bow hold or anything else? Pop in for our NEW community office hours on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month at noon (12:00 CST).
Carolyn will host the first one and Matt will host the second one. Just click “enter” and come on in. You all will lead the sessions with your questions. Anyone can be present for the duration of the office hour.

Want some accountability to help you get in the practice groove? Join our 8-day practice challenge group! (Not so new? You can join, too!)

APRIL: Play a 2 Octave C Major Scale
This month your challenge is to play a 2 octave, C major scale. Sheet music here. Metronome will be set to quarter = 60. Your goal is to aim for excellent intonation (fixing notes on the spot when they are out of tune) and slurring two notes together. Record yourself, load it to Youtube (marked as “unlisted”), copy the link and add it to the community page. Have fun! A few times a year we meet up to make some music together. Play with us in our Virtual Cello Choir or join us in our in person summer workshop.

Virtual Cello Choir
Two or three times a year we will play a virtual concert together. Members record their part and the piece will be edited together.
